Going to use this post as a type of a rundown of what's coming up in the schedule, some updates, and other good randomness that may mean something.
This weekend (May 16th, 2009) I will not be doing anything in the form of running a tournament. I plan on going to Memphis, Tn to try my luck at Regionals. Wish me luck in my attempts.
I have recently been upgraded from gateway WPN level to core WPN level. What does this mean? Well, for those of you who care, this means I am allowed to finally host FNM (friday night magic) and Pre-Releases. What does this mean for you? No more 1+ hour drives to enjoy the ooie gooie goodness of playing what you like. No more waking up too early, loosing sleep, or taking that long ride home.
The current issue I'm going to start trying to fix Monday is a place to play while WKU is out for summer break, which seems to start this coming weekend, or monday. Only thing that matters is finding an appropriate place to play, in a location that will suite everyone. I will be checking with Kevin for a possiblilty of staying on campus, checking with Arby's on Scottsville Rd., and exploring other options aswell. If, by chance, you have any ideas contact me. I will leave my contact information at the end of this "blog".
Possible Saturday formats I'm currently exploring are:

Pauper (with a homemade banned list) Also, change any magic online words with any set ever released. By SET, I mean something (released in the present) that would have a pre-release and launch party (I.E., shards of alara, conflux, alara reboarn are sets. Goblins vs. elves isn't a set, even though these cards are still leagal to play with).
Pesant (with homemade banned list)
Kaleidoscope (Ignore the extended legal. I will be allowing vintage (type 1) legal sets)

These links are the best I could find without spending too much time looking around (google searched). I know several people are new or casualy returing from a long period of time (what's up Brian?). I want to let everyone know that I have an insane amount of cards at my house, so if your looking for some older cards, newer cards, or some type of bulk cards to help fill out your decks for some of the formats I have mentioned (or not), feel free to email me a list. I work at a 1st come 1st serve basis. I also look at my convenience. I do my best to stick as close to ebay prices using magic traders online price guide (Avg.).
